Painting with Monica Jones
This 6-week course will be with the Artist Monica Jones. Monica’s style of teaching aims to help students express an individual style.
The Painting classes will have solid technical information on the elements of composition and perspective. There will be a strong emphasis on colour mixing, tonal values, and how they relate to the natural environment of Fitzgerald’s Park.
Fitzgerald’s Park is an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of City Life. As part of my teaching Monica will include references from Art History e.g. the impressionists and expressionists. The classes will be held in the Lord Mayors Pavilion and weather permitting, we will take the opportunity to work from observation in the park.
Fridays 10:30am - 12pm or 1pm - 2:30pm starting Friday Feb 15th.
REGISTRATION: Friday Feb 8th 1pm - 2pm
120 euros (105 euros for seniors and students) inclusive of materials.
TASTER SESSION: Sunday Feb. 3rd at 2pm - 3:30pm. 5 euros.
Just bring your enthusiasm and your willingness to get started!
Those who attend will benefit of an offer of 15 euros voucher towards the course.
